What is aQ?
A medical grade research tool that seamlessly facilitates data collection from large cohorts and user groups under a single platform. aQ enables academics, charities, and healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality data and insights from their users in real-time.

aQ is a highly customisable platform with unique features that enable it to provide broad health and social care applications.
Developed in conjunction with our game changing platform Ascelus, aQ’s user interface has been co-designed with health professionals and patients, making it more intuitive and resulting in higher survey completion rates, and richer data.
aQ improves not only improves the quality of research, but also allows data to be collected at scale in way that is more cost, time, and resource efficient.

Data To Insight
aQ was designed to facilitate the capture of information from patients and other user groups incorporating complex question structures, algorithms and AI, to deliver actionable insights.
aQ allows you to customise what data you collect, how you collect it and when you collect it. This ensures you get a tailored set trends and the insights that meets your requirements.
aQ goes beyond a conventional survey tool; it’s a comprehensive insight and analysis platform. The aQ Dashboard displays data collection progress and insights.
aQ Capabilities & Benefits
aQ’s Innovative branching logic allows you to build highly customised surveys with multiple question pathways based on specific answers. Uncover nuanced opinions, tailor experiences, and gain a deeper understanding of patient cohorts.
aQ allows dynamic data collection through advanced scheduling. Send particular question sets to specified cohorts on a chosen date or event-based trigger such as a user event or action (e.g. symptom reported, health appointment logged etc.)
The aQ dynamic survey adapts in real-time, asking only the relevant questions based on each respondent’s unique answers. This results in shorter surveys, higher completion rates, and richer data.
The aQ pathway builder allows for the collection of contextualised insights that are specific to the individual (e.g. age, disease, stage in care pathway etc.).
aQ in Action
University of Leeds – aQ supporting Quality of Life monitoring in patients receive cancer treatment
aQ is supporting clinicians and researchers at the University of Leeds to monitor quality of life in patients receiving cancer treatment.
aQ’s highly configurable platform enabled academics at the University of Leeds to incorporate their own algorithm ‘eRAPID’ for research studies.
aQ and eRAPID work seamlessly together to collect patient reported symptoms and automate immediate responses with personalised advice back to users/patients.
